Oral Presentation Guidelines

ISSY 35 Antalya

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Selected abstract submissions will be presented during 13 Oral Abstract Sessions. Authors will present their peer-reviewed research in a specific topic area, and presentations will be moderated by experts in the field. A Scientific Overview may be included in an Oral Abstract Session, as appropriate, or a session chair may provide a brief translational summary at the close of a session. Session chairs will introduce speakers and facilitate audience questions.
Presentation Length and Format
Oral presenters will be allocated 15 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers with the audience. If the presentation exceeds 15 minutes, the session chair will warn the speaker and shorten the Q&A period that follows the presentation.
Please also indicate whether the study is ongoing or completed and whether the results are preliminary or final.
Content Slides
Our experience indicates that up to 15 slides for Oral presentation is optimal, allowing 1 minute per slide. You may choose to use more than 15 slides, but please be sure to complete your presentation within the allocated 15 minutes. The content slides should give an overview of the research with conclusions and future research direction.
Please note that corporate logos (except sponsors), QR codes for ads and etc. are not permitted on slides for oral presentations.
Slide Format
We will support only MS PowerPoint PPT / PPTX files and PDFs. Please ensure that all presentations are in the supported format. High definition (HD) projectors will be used for all sessions. Please apply standard formatting when preparing your slides (aspect ratio 4:3; resolution 1920×1440).

Speakers must bring their slides on a portable USB drive to the presentation hall so slides can be uploaded to the presentation computer. All presenters should bring their slides to the related presentation hall (Adrasan or Vista) at least 8 to 24 hours in advance of their presentation.
